Planning for Sustainability

When confronted by the results of the vast expenditure by World Bank and other funding agencies, one cannot avoid the inescapable conclusion that over half is completely wasted. This is largely the result of using inappropriate technology; constructing big projects which will never be properly maintained or operated.

The attached paper details some obvious lessons using case studies from personal experience.
