PAS 55 is the specification for asset management systems in the UK; written by the Institute of Asset Management and published by the British Standards Institute it has an international reputation as the ‘gold standard’. Not everyone shares the IAM’s view of its usefulness and this paper has been compiled to allow those who do not wish to invest over £200 to assess it before purchase.
